Today, we were up earlier than usual to get moving. We headed to New Balance shoes at the outlet stores. I needed to get new shoes to see if that was part of my problem with not healing on my ankle. I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes because there was a sale on the shoes, plus buy one get one. I ended up with 2 pairs of shoes for $116. which is about what I paid for my Skeeters a couple years ago. I know, we are not supposed to wear the same shoes for 2 or 3 ...

She dropped this one off. I need to make a pillowcase for it and it will be ready for Veterans Day.
After she left, I headed to the post office to drop off 2 certificates. Then I headed to PT but stopped at moms on the way. I ...

read moreThis morning, I was getting a few things done before everyone started to show up. We had 7 of us today which is a good sign for Sew Days.
I had everything planned out and cut. Then I had everyone make sure they had the same 1/4" seam allowance guide. Once we had that down, I had them get started on the 2 quilts that I was ready to have done. We worked on the Irish Chain and a 9-patch quilt. I didn't get a photo of the pretty one that is the Irish Chain, but I did ...

Now worries.

Came back home and headed downstairs. I needed to get ready for the sew days on Wednesday and had to pick a few things up.
I got started. The blue bag there was emptied with more fabrics that were donated. I ...
read moreToday, I got ready for the presentation. Debbie called and needed a ride, so I picked her up. Then we went to Dutch Brothers for our drinks. Headed to the museum and it looked like there was stuff going on. We didn't mess with the "drama" as we were there for the veterans.
Marilyn came down from Tacoma to help honor our veterans. She helped present the quilts. It was awesome.

read moreThis morning, I decided to head into town and get a few things done today. We didn't have our BE meeting because Geralyn was at her Wool group. Looks like things are getting harder with us meeting. I have had to cancel all last month and now it looks like we will be canceling part of this month as well. Oh, well.

I got up around 8 am and got ready to leave. I need to go to the new CVS store (which doesn't take the insurance needed) and picked up some prescriptions. I then stopped to drop off some veggies for Phil. Had a bucket full. Made him come out and get it, since it was too heavy for me. He gave me cucumbers and zucchini. I dropped one of each off at Colleens ...

We were given another table to use, so that came in handy. We have a few things that needed to be seen.
The first hour of the sale, it was packed! We had so many people come and check out our fabrics. We also sold a ton of it but still have plenty left. I just posted on Facebook what ...
